MACK!!! NAO FACO ISSO!!! (4-28-14)

Bom Dia meus bruxos!!!

So this week was a pretty good one.  It is starting to get kinda chilly in the mornings and at night, but everyone thinks it is like super cold.  So that is funny.  And I really like our district, all four of us haha.  One of the elders, Elder Mayo, is from Ammon, Idaho and he is almost me.  We have plans already to play halo and destiny when we both return to our normal lives.  And Elder Nonato is still sweet.  He is hilarious.  We have some great inside jokes haha.

As for the work we still haven't been able to meet with any of our current investigators.  They all cancel.  One day we went to one and right when we got there all the lights went out and that means for the specific house that they are sleeping.  So yeah, but we have found a lot of new people and we have a ton of referrals that we still have to contact.  So we are still pretty busy. And the LMA (ward mission leader) is finally starting to meet with us and help.  So I see a bright future on the horizon.

So I have a funny story, actually two.  Short one...We taught a whole house of Espiritismos (a church) about the Plan of Salvation.  The only thing is that they believe in reincarnation.  So that is pretty funny to watch their reactions when we got to the part of resurrection.  And kinda awkward.

To the better story.  So we help Luis Carlos, an elderly member, move to the couch and back to the bed everyday.  So he got a new bed this week.  One that is better and so his wife can help him better when we are not there.  He can't move, only his arms, and just barely.  So his granddaughter (another member) was there with her husband trying to switch the beds.  And Luis Carlos is drugged up on meds so he is a little crazy.  Well he was not happy.  AT ALL!!  He wanted his old bed back and he wanted to watch what they were doing.  While on the other hand the granddaughter was like, "leave him and help us".  It got to the point where Luis Carlos said "For the love that you two have for Jesus Christ, don't do this and help me"!  He also said "Mack!  Don't do that."  So during the event it was super stressful.  But now it is pretty funny.  But we got the beds switched.  Luis Carlos even wanted us to break the bed of his wife because he was so ticked haha.  Oh drugged old people haha.

Well that is all I got from Dom Pedrito.  Eu amo voces e ficam chiques!!!

Elder Mackay

And sorry, my camera won't connect so no pictures this week :(  QUE TREISTEZA!!!!
