I'm Definitely Not in Porto Alegre Anymore (4-21-14)

Bom dia!

So this week has been a pretty solid week.  I landed here in Dom Pedrito Wednesday after a night of bus riding Tuesday night.  The bus ride was 6 or 7 hours from Porto Alegre to Bage and then Wednesday it was an hour to Dom Pedrito.  It may be in the middle of nowhere, but it is still pretty sweet.  There are I think two traffic lights and one road that is paved with asphalt haha.  The rest is either dirt or cobblestone.  So I will have to shine my shoes more this transfer haha.  But my comp is pretty cool, Elder Nonato.  He is 26 haha.  But he is pretty hilarious.  And I live with two other Americans.  And they are pretty sweet too.

Dom Pedrito is pretty chill.  It is pretty small.  Probably the size of Laramie, Wyoming.  And the people are pretty chill.  But the ward needs alot of work.  None of the members know what they are doing with their callings.  Only the Young Men's  President knows what he is doing.  And like half the ward hates the Bishop.  And some of the less actives have told the missionaries that they won't come back until he is released.  So yeah, there is some work to be done.  But the members are super cool.  Especially a recent convert name Fatima.  She is super legit.  And I think our investigators are cool too, but they are all vacationing for Easter so we haven't seen any of them.  So this week we will see them.

Also some great news for Distrio Otimo of the MTC, all of us in Porto Alegre were reunited for a fleeting moment at the bus station transfers.  Me, Elders Richardson and Smith and Sister Taylor!!!  And I have pictures, but I dropped the ball this week and forgot my cable for my camera.  SO NEXT WEEK!

Other than that I got nothing else.  And I have no time haha.  We have to pay for internet here and it is a holiday and the place closes in 10 minutes haha.  Eu amo voces!!
