This past Wednesday, June 26th, was the day that Jason entered the MTC. I took him there as Scott had to work and the other kids stayed home. It was an emotional day for me but for Jason there was nothing but excitement. We walked to the MTC and were met at the corner by two young elders and one of them was Jason's escort. I gave Jason a hug, told him I love him, and away he went. I held it together really well until I couldn't see him anymore. I find that I think about him and wonder what he's doing but I don't worry about him for one second! What better place could he be than in the Lord's service.
I'm not sure when his p-day is but I will begin posting his letters or emails as soon as they arrive!
We are all so excited for Jason. He is in all of our prayers. But those pictures of him walking away made me tear up. I don't know if I will be able to hold it together when I am in your position. Good job Kristin!
