Eu Posso Ter Uma Milagre? SEM DUVIDA!!! (7-28-14)

Oi queridos!

This week started out rough.  It rained for 3 days straight, and with the distance of our area from our house we didn't leave.  No one wants wet and muddy missionaries entering their house.  But we prayed for miracles and we got them.  We had 3.

First.  We found a sweet new investigator named Luis Carlos.  He is super sweet and said that he was praying to know what he should do in his life, or something like that.  He is like 50ish and retired because of spine problems.  It hurts him to walk.  But he is legit.  He wanted us to come back when his wife was home, and when we came back she wasn't there and he was kind of mad at her...hahaha!  HE'S GOLDEN!!!

2nd.  We had Adinauilson come to church!!!  And he brought his cunhado!!!!!!!!  It was their first time at church and they loved it!!!  So that was legit.

And 3rd.  The super sweet less active Sergio came!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I was so surprised when he came!!!!  He will be such a huge strength to the ward because he was already Elders Quorum President in Porto Alegre.

So it was a great week.  And to top it off I have a funny story.  So we were visiting Alex in the house of Leticia and Fatima as usual, and Tainara was there.  Well Leticia goes to their computer to use FB and as she sits down I see um lagarto, lizard, on the chair.  So I say "Oi largartinha."  Hi little lizard.  And she FREAKS OUT!!! And then Tainara freaks out.  And then Fatima laughs from inside the bathroom.  Then I catch the lizard and hold it in my hand.  Then they freak out more and made me take him out and wash my hands.  I named him Stevie.  I miss him hahaha.

Well that is all I got for this week.  I love yall!!!  Fica chique!!!

Conferencia Das Zonas (7-21-14)

Oi queridos!

This week was pretty good.  We had zone conference in Pelotas.  That is 4 hours away by bus.  Zone conference was great.  I really learn a lot and felt the spirit.  And I am trying my best to apply what I learned which is good.  But the ride however was terrible.  We left Bage at 5h 30 da manha and we didn't get to Dom Pedrito again til Meia-noite.  But it was well worth it.

We also have been finding lots of new people to teach so that is good.  And Alex got the Aaronic Priesthood yesterday WHICH WAS AWESOME!!!!!  And we contacted a referral who ended up being a member already, Elders quarum pres e tudo.  And only baptized for 4 years.  But he has gone through a lot of marriage problems that ended in divorce.  Other than that I know nothing.  But he is sick, and loves video games!!!  FINALLY SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS MY LANGUAGE!!!!

I am sorry that I am so lame, but other than that, nothing much happened.  It rained a lot this week.  So yeah, but it was a great week.

Oi queridos!!!

Well I don't have much to report this week.  There were 2 games of Brasil, both of which they lost.  First to Germany 7-1 and then to Holland 3-0.  And also Elder Marshall got sick for one of the no game days so we stayed at home all day that day.  But we found lots of new investigators by visiting people with members!!!  And one family has super awesome potential!!!!!!!  Estou animado por esta semana!!!

Well other than that nothing much happened.  Sorry about the shortness.  But I GOT PICS!!!!

BAPTISMO!!!!! (7-7-14)

Oi queridos,

So this week started with sadness, the loss of Elder Mayo and the loss of the USA in the cup in a fantastic game contra Belgica.  But I got my new comp, Elder Marshall, from Salt Lake City.  He has 4 months left.  Just a little more time than E. Mayo.  But nothing really happened.  It rained every night this week and we just visited members during the day.  So we didn't teach many investigators.

But that being said there was a baptism!!!!  Alex got baptized and I had the honor of doing it.  It was super awesome!  Now he will get the priesthood soon and start prep to serve a mission.  AHH YEAH!!!!!

Other than that nothing really happened.  Sorry about that.  I got nothing haha.  But this week we are knocking a ton of doors.  So I should have more stories next week.

MURICA!!!! (6-30-14)

Oi meus queridos,

So this week has been really good.  And I am staying in DOM PEDRITO!!!!!  But Elder Mayo is out :(  But this week was great.  And best yet, the USA still qualified for the next round despite the 1-0 loss to Germany.  BUT WE PLAY TOMORROW VS BELGIUM so CHEER FOR MURICA!!!!

But ALEX IS GETTING BAPTIZED THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!  AW YEAH!!!!  He is super excited too.  Other than that we had interviews, which I'm not going to lie, I liked them with President Wall better.  But they were still good.  We did get some really good referrals this week that have some awesome potential.  So things are finally starting to really pick up.  YAY!!!!

Well other than that I have nothing new to report.  Stay classy ya'll and eu amo voces.
